Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jordan and I am a Social Worker.
I commenced study in 2013 with the aim to support young people grow and achieve their dreams. This journey led to the completion of a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) & Masters of Social Work (Professional Qualifying).
I am passionate about, not only supporting the growth of young people, but also supporting the growth of other professionals - providing support for individuals and groups through clinical supervision and mentoring.
I have been privileged to work in the fields of: School Social Work, Aged Care, Addiction, Service Coordination & Case Management. Aside from offering supervision & mentoring, I currently work part-time as a Team Leader to a team of counsellors in a School Wellbeing Program & as a casual academic within the Masters of Counselling at Edith Cowan University.
I highly value strengths-based and solution-focussed therapies with my toolkit including, but not limited to, Motivation Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy.

I presented a 30 minute presentation at the 2024 FRSA Conference in Melbourne (14-16 May 2024).
